Project: This is the liFE

 

Overview:

Hartlepool College of Further Education required a new multichannel campaign in order to lead the student recruitment drive for one of the leading Further Education colleges

 

Solution:

This concept is plays on the word LIFE as it contains the FE and represents the HCFE experience being much more a LIFE experience, than a one-dimensional experience purely focused on studying. It’s a much more rounded LIFE EXPERIENCE that will equip you for whatever you want to achieve. An education that starts at the FE lasts a LIFEtime. LIFE starts here…

The existing brand uses the spark of imagination, the burst of graphic shapes to create movement and energy, so we utilise this as a device to echo the 3-dimensional approach to the experience.

The emphasis on the multichannel nature of the campaign, that would target younger people more effectively, lead to the use of the ‘#HCliFE’ across outdoor media such as 48sheet and bus shelter posters, as well as apparel-based merchandise. This would then transition over into the online channels and social media of the Hartlepool College of Further Education.

The generic ‘top’ level message is: “This is the LiFE”

We show real people of all ages, diversity and ability in their chosen profession or working towards their goals. It’s showing all aspects of life – real life, future lives and life at Hartlepool. As the messages drill down, we can begin to show specific Life elements – testimonial quotes, true-life stories and aspirational roles.
